Accessible HouseMaryland Receives $9.8 Million from HUD to provide rental assistance to Persons with Disabilities

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded the State of Maryland approximately $9.8 million from HUD’s Section 811 Project Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (PRA Demo).  

The award will provide rental assistance and support services for 150 Marylanders with disabilities with extremely low incomes.  The PRA Demo funds will be administered by the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) in partnership with the Maryland Department of Disabilities (MDOD) and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH).
