Directory of Maryland Emergency Shelters and Transition Housing Programs:  In cases of an immediate crisis or emergency, the Department of Human Resources’ (DHR) Emergency and Transitional Housing Programs has a Directory of Maryland Emergency Shelters and Transition Housing Programs.
